Counter Charge started over 10 years ago as Mantic Radio and was the brainchild of Andrew Sherman with assistance from Mark Zielinski and Rob Phaneuf. From 2013 to 2015 we recorded 31 episodes that explored the full range of offerings from Mantic Games. However it all changed during the summer of 2015 with the release of Kings of War 2nd edition. Kings of War was finally a fully developed war game and it became our sole passion. So we switched to covering mostly Kings of War and let others pick up the mantle for the other game systems. More significantly, we changed the name of the show to Counter Charge, to better reflect the focus of the show going forward. We launched our 1st episode of Counter Charge on August 2nd, 2015. Fun fact, that first episode was the only Counter Charge episode edited by Andy, however he did do all the editing for Mantic Radio. Over the years and it’s been a great ride and we have had a number of great hosts and contributors come and go. But what will never change is our passion for Kings of War and the community that surrounds it.
